Today, we want to share a very special wedding with you; our very first Team Mocha Rose wedding! Mackenzie originally came to us as a wedding client with Shayla Hawkins Events and ended up working for Mocha Rose! We love Mackenzie and her and Louis’s wedding was nothing short of gorgeous! Mackenize and Louis said “I Do” at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland and celebrated the night away at the Hyatt House in the Southside Works. Her wedding was inspired by all things Anthropologie with a soft, urban garden feel. We used tons of stunning spring time flowers and colors to achieve this look. Check out all these fantastic photos courtesy of Ryan Zarichnak!
Mackenize provided us with all of these adorable little lanterns that we hung from her greenery chandeliers as well as placed on guest tables throughout the reception space.
Mackenzie and Louis shared this lovely bench at their sweetheart table, right in the center of everything. We created a floral and greenery garland for the bench to make their seats beautiful from all angles.
As all the guests entered the reception, they were greeted by Beatrice the Bulldog. Mackenzie and Louis actually have an English Bulldog named Beatrice, so we decided to surprise them with this adorable bulldog garden statue as part of their seating display. Beatrice even got her own greenery collar!
Mackenzie’s bouquet was bursting with color and fun elements like bleeding hearts, succulents, and poppy pods. She also provided us with all that dreamy ribbon to cascade from her bouquet. She looked so stunning on her big day.
Mackenzie was also our first client ever to ask for floral pocket squares for Louis and his groomsmen. We loved the original idea and created this little beauty just for Louis. Hopefully, we will see these again at future weddings; they’re such a fun and unique alternative to boutonnieres.
Just look at this beautiful couple! Mackenzie had her mother’s wedding dress altered for her own wedding and it looks so beautiful on her!
