Fabulous Indian Wedding at The Omni William Penn Hotel, Pittsburgh, PA

Today I want to showcase Aneesha and Neal’s wedding at the Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. I will admit that this wedding happened in August of 2013, but it is so fantastic that I still have to share it now. Aneesha and Neal were married on August 31, 2013 in not one, but TWO fabulous ceremonies. The first was a beautiful Catholic ceremony and the second a magnificent Indian ceremony. Plus, the celebrations also included a cocktail hour and reception after the ceremonies, not to mention the Sangeet the previous day! Erin from Divine Celebrations really outdid herself on this one! We always love working with Erin.

Indian ceremony took place under this beautiful, carnation encrusted
Mandap. We covered the front in hundreds of carnations as well as made
all of the hanging flower garlands. Yes, all of them are 100% real!

This was one of the arrangements from the Sangeet on August 30, 2013.

The beautiful couple! How gorgeous is Aneesha’s gown? Just wait until you see her sari for their Indian ceremony, though!

Aren’t you glad I didn’t make you wait very long? Words cannot describe the extravagance of this sari, not to mention the ceremony!

Now, on to the reception in the Omni William Penn’s Grand Ballroom!
This celebration highlighted tons of different colors and extravagant details, and why not? What better way to celebrate a marriage than with lots of bright, happy colors? Aneesha and Neal’s reception featured purple as the main color in the palette.

We custom built this incredible floral tree just for Aneesha and Neal’s escort card table.
I’m going to apologize in advance for the iPhone pictures here, but you just HAD to see their wedding cake!

How amazing and beautiful is this cake? I simply cannot get over how cute those little foxes are on the top! All we did was add a few blooms cascading down the side.

We loved being a part of this wedding! We had a great time creating all of these lavish, colorful details. Being able to see everything come together was really amazing and gratifying.
