We’re in a Magazine!

If you are in Pennsylvania, go to your local grocery, bookstore or newstand and pick up a copy of “The Knot: Pennsylvania” (Spring/ Summer 2008)

Our work is featured as one of the “13 Stylish Real Weddings” in a five page spread of a wedding that we did at the Twentieth Century Club on May 5, 2007.

The couple, Amy and Nori were so much fun and they came to me with fresh, modern ideas for their floral arrangements. My favorite part of the wedding besides the couple themselves, was that they mixed things up. The bridesmaids were given a choice of two colors, aqua or salmon and they were allowed to choose any dress that match either color. Every bouquet and every boutonniere was different.

Nori (coolest groom ever) personally chose the centerpieces. They did three different glass cylinders of varying heights filled with submerged flowers and floating candles. The families made 1001 cranes to place around the reception.

This was truly a fabulous wedding and I was honored to be a part of it. There were some wonderful vendors working this event that made it into my favorites list that day (see the vendor links to the left hand side of the page). Lisa Kyle was the photographer and the one who submitted these photos to the knot. Tiffany Cramer from Great Expectation Events was a wonderful help to me on that day. Jeremy Ganss rocked the house in only a way that Jeremy could.

Of course, the Twentieth Century Club is always amazing and I’m looking forward to quite a few events that I have scheduled there in the next year.

Anyways, I’m so excited to have my first (of hopefully many) magazine features.

…I’m WAY overdue to finish a blog that I started on an event at PNC Park. Hopefully, I’ll have that at the beginning of next week. Everybody has been keeping me so busy (I love it!) I thought things were supposed to slow down in the winter…
