Sara and Marc were married at The First Unitarian Church in Shadyside with a reception at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. What a fun wedding! If you have been following my blog, you know that I love a modern, chic design that breaks the rules. I’d say that was achieved, don’t you?
There were two different types of centerpieces. The first was a submerged centerpiece trio of orange mokara orchids. The second was a tall submerged centerpiece with a curly willow tree with orchid blooms and hanging purple crystals. The color palette was chocolate brown, orange and deep purple.
Andy Shick from ADS Lighting did the purple lanterns and orange up lighting in the tent.
Sara and Marc made the table number frames. I loved them!
These were the altar arrangements for the church that were transported to the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts to be placed on pedestals in the cocktail room.
The Center for the Arts is such a wonderful venue. http://www.pittsburgharts.org/index.php
I love that the guests can tour the exhibit during cocktail hour. The reception tent is amazing and such a beautiful and unique space.
