Lead Designer (full-time)
We are looking for a creative, design savvy employee with strong leadership skills with a desire to move into a managerial role. A customer service extraordinaire, MUST be a team player and able to work well with others. Eye for style, willingness to work hard and quickly, share ideas and skills with the team, good communication skills, reliable, trustworthy, professional, adaptable, and patient. MUST be available to work weekends, especially during the peak wedding season. Must be able to stand/ walk for extended periods as well as lift/move up to 50 pounds. Ability to professionally handle stressful situations occasionally. Previous floral design experience is not required (we can teach this!), but some type of creative background is ideal.
PLEASE NOTE: the Lead Designer position will not be available until June 2017, but we are excited to meet new applicants for this position ahead of time. (We love to plan ahead!)
Assistant Designer (part-time)
More than one position may be available
Like our Lead Designer, this employee should be creative and design savvy, a customer service extraordinaire, team player but also able to work and think independently, willing to work hard and quickly, good communication skills, trustworthy, professional, adaptable, and patient. MUST be available to work weekends during the peak wedding season. Ability to regularly stand, walk, lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to professionally handle stressful situations occasionally. Previous floral design experience is not required (we can teach this!), but should be able to demonstrate some type of creative ability.
Event Set-Up Staff (part-time/ seasonal)
Multiple positions may be available
MUST be available to work weekends during peak wedding season. These employees will work with designers to set-up events including transportation of floral designs and hard goods, wedding ceremony set-up, wedding reception venue set-up, non-wedding event delivery and set-up, and tear down of events. Able to work quickly and independently, but also be a team player, excited to help make event design come to life, trustworthy, punctual, professional, customer service extraordinaire. Ability to work while standing, moving, lifting/carrying for extended periods a must. Ability to drive a cargo van/box truck a plus; valid PA driver’s license required. Ability to professionally handle stressful situations occasionally.
