April Schwietz Mason is the Owner and Creative Director of Mocha Rose. April founded Mocha Rose in 2005 after a less than excellent experience with her own wedding flowers. April used her creative bent and determined spirit to teach herself the ins and outs of flowers and floral design. With her philosophy of “delivering an outstanding product and exemplary service” in mind, April quickly elevated Mocha Rose to its current award-winning reputation. From your first consultation, April will look at every detail and create designs that bring your dream event to life. April prides herself on her attention to detail and her use of the freshest flowers, the highest quality products, and the friendliest staff.
Lauren Barber is the Marketing and Office Manager at Mocha Rose. Lauren originally came to Mocha Rose in 2011 and has worked her way up from part-time event set-up to her current management position. She is thrilled to be able to be a part of Mocha Rose in this capacity, as this job allows her to combine her passion for marketing with one of her newest loves, the wedding and event world. She still enjoys working with the flowers, though, and there’s a good chance you could see her helping bring your dream wedding to life.
Caitlin Govan is the Lead Designer and Day-of Wedding Coordinator at Mocha Rose. A graduate of Grove City College, Caitlin has always loved the creative event industry and helping people. Now, she is so happy to be able to work with flowers and help make couples’ special days even more beautiful. When she isn’t designing at Mocha Rose she loves reading, watching sappy, romantic movies, and spending time with her family in her hometown of Pittsburgh!
Alex Cromer is a student of Advertising at Point Park University. When not designing at Mocha Rose he can be found drinking coffee, writing (bad) poems, drawing (bad) pictures*, and/or playing copious amounts of video games. He is thrilled to bring his experience as a writer and graphic designer to Team Mocha Rose.
